FRIENDS CLUB T-SHIRT DESIGN CONTEST
Hey, Knights! Friends Club is looking for YOUR creativity!
We’re holding a contest to design the 2026–2027 Friends Club T-shirt!
Your design must be original, school appropriate, and have a positive message about inclusion. And here’s the best part—the winner will be chosen by our ADAPT students and will receive a FREE Friends Club T-shirt!
Remember—Inclusion is the name of the game!
Turn in your design to Mrs. Camp in Room 1205 or Mrs. Stegall in Room 1206 by Friday, September 11th! Get creative, Knights! We can’t wait to see your designs!
There will be a girls Wrestling interest meeting TODAY at 3:15 or Tuesday, Sept. 15th at 3:15 in room 1211.

Students, get ready because Homecoming 2026 is heading to the Big Apple!
This year’s theme is NYC at Night, so get ready for bright lights, city vibes, music, dancing, and a night you won’t want to miss!
Homecoming will be Saturday, October 3rd from 6:30 to 9:30 PM right here in the cafeteria and courtyard.
Tickets are on sale NOW for just $25 on GoFan, so don’t wait until the last minute! Grab your ticket, get your friends together, and start planning your semi-formal fit.
Planning to bring someone who doesn’t attend River Ridge? You’ll need to complete a Guest Approval Form before the dance. Forms are available outside Rooms 2302 and 2114, so make sure you pick one up and get it turned in by September 30th!
Get ready to dress up, hit the dance floor, and spend a night in the city that never sleeps!

The Diversity Awareness Program is hosting a field trip to the National Center for Civil and Human Rights in Atlanta. The field trip will be on October 1st. See Ms. Nelson in 1102 for permission slips, and reserve your spot by paying the $25 fee on the school's website! Deadline to register is Friday, September 11th, and the first 40 students to sign up can attend.
In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month DAP is having a Loteria tournament on September 16th. Everyone is welcome to join us for music, games, and prizes, even if you've never been to a DAP meeting before. The tournament will be from 3:15 to 4:00 on Wednesday, Sept 16th in the media center, and DAP meets every Wednesday. Everyone has a seat at our table.
Are you interested in opportunities to be creative, provide leadership and get tons of volunteer options? Join us next Wednesday after school for PTSA Ambassadors. We will work alongside our school's wonderful PTSA to continue to make River Ridge the best school in the county. We will meet in room 2310 on Wednesday Sept 16th.
