Morning Announcements SY 24-25

 

Track and Field had their first night of Regions Tuesday. 6 events are headed to sectionals & 7 events are headed to finals Thursday.

Congrats to the following athletes who are headed to Sectionals!

Liam Gerdis in the discus with a throw of 146 feet and 5 inches.

Girls 4x200 (Alyssia Amedee, Tiffany Ademosu, Kristen Lee, Nikky Sobrevilla) with a time of 1:47.65.

Joy Tchamabe- the new Region Champ in shot put with a throw of 34 feet 10 inches.

Girls 4x800 (Bella Kennison, Alana Bourke, Aislyn Miles, Alyssa Roberts) are the new Region champs at 9:54.36.

Boys 4x800 (Patrik Liska, Jennings Banks, Ryan Woellert, Nate Spivey) are the new Region Champs AND New School record holders at 8:21.41.

Triple jumper Eli Bolden is the new school record holder with a jump of 44 feet and 3/4 of an inch.

 

DECA is hosting a school supply drive, and we need your help! Items to donate are listed on the graphic provided. Last drop off date is April 24th. Service hours can be earned by supplying items. 

Hey everyone! It's time to gear up for one of the most exciting events of the year — the 1st ever River Ridge Powder Puff Game is coming soon! Grade levels will compete against each other for a chance to claim the winning trophy!

We’re looking for players, coaches, and cheerleaders to join the action! Whether you want to hit the field or lead the team from the sidelines, this is your chance to get involved and show some school spirit!

Cost to Participate is $20, which includes a T-shirt

The Earth Club is hosting a fundraiser to accommodate for the recycling costs that have increased by 60%. King of Pops will be here every Friday starting April 25th until May 16th. Support our Earth Club to help keep our campus green!
