Congratulations to our Science Olympiad team for the performance last week at the Brookwood Invitational Tournament. They earned a 1^st place in Astronomy and 6^th place in Optics and “Write It Do it”.

Hey Knights! The Beta Club invites you to a Free Family Movie Night—a fun-filled evening for all ages that also supports a wonderful cause!

Please get the word out to your family, friends and neighbors to come out tomorrow, Saturday January 25^th, to the River Ridge Auditorium and watch Despicable Me 4 from 6-8pm. 

Make sure to bring CASH for snacks and concessions, but the movie itself is FREE!

All concessions proceeds will go to support the Service League of Cherokee County, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of children in Cherokee County. Tomorrow night at 6! Come watch Despicable Me 4!

River Ridge Baseball tryouts will be held on January 27^th.  If you are interested, please make sure to have an updated physical on file in Rank One and see Coach Runion in room 2406 prior to tryouts.

Attention ALL River Ridge Students: The 2024 Optimist International Oratorical Competition needs your speech! This year's topic is "How Optimism Has Guided Me Through Trying Times." Prizes at the local level are $300 and a gold medal for 1^st place; $200 and a silver medal for 2^nd place, and $100 and a bronze for 3^rd place. The deadline to apply is Monday, February 3^rd, and the competition is Wednesday, February 12^th. Tennis tryouts will be held January 27^th through the 29^th on the courts behind the softball field. Please ensure you are eligible to participate in Rank One.

Yearbook application:  Are you a creative person who is interested in writing, graphic design, or photography? The RRHS Yearbook is now accepting applications for next year. Stop by Mrs. Chamberlain’s room 1118 to grab an application flyer.
