Cell phones, smart watches, Meta glasses, earbuds, etc. (best left in vehicle, otherwise, these will have to be powered off completely and left in the hallway)

Test Day Arrival:
Doors open at approximately 7:30 AM
Students must park at the front of the school (see map below)
Parents may drop off at the front of the school (see map below)
Students will enter through the 1100 Atrium (ELA Hallway)
Testing begins promptly at 8:00 AM
Students should arrive early and plan for traffic
Photo ID is required for testing. If a student forgets their ID or if it not an approved ID according to ACT or SAT, the student will be denied entry to the test
Test Day Dismissal and Test Timing:
SAT:
Standard time testing ends approximately at 10:45-11:00 AM
ACT:
Standard time testing ends approximately at 11:15 AM
Standard time + science OR writing ends approximately at 12:00 PM
Standard time + science AND writing ends approximately at 1:00 PM
Digital Testing Information:
Students may use their own device if they wish.
Charge the device overnight
All device setup must be done in advance and CANNOT be done before the test
If a student’s device does not work, the student will be provided a Chromebook
Please refer to the ACT or SAT website regarding device requirements for personal devices
Accommodated Testing:
SAT:
Extended time testing ends approximately at 12:00-12:30 PM
ACT:
Extended time testing ends approximately at 12:15 PM
Extended time + science OR writing ends approximately at 1:15 PM
Extended time + science AND writing ends approximately at 2:20 PM
IMPORTANT: It is critical that you follow the procedures for ACT and SAT for your student to receive the proper accommodations. Accommodations cannot be added the day of testing for any reason. Typically, it takes about 6 weeks for the process to complete.
If your student believes their accommodations are incorrect, it is important for the student to tell the proctor immediately and before they begin the test.
What if I’m late? Testing begins promptly at 8:00 AM. You will need to contact ACT or SAT to reschedule your test.
What forms of ID are accepted? Current driver’s license or learner’s permit, current student ID, passport
What if I forget my ID? You will not be allowed to test and will have to reschedule.
Can parents wait inside? Parents are not allowed in the testing center.
Can I leave during breaks? Some breaks allow you to use the restroom and eat your snack. Some are a stretch break at your desk. If you need to use the restroom during the test, your test is not paused.
What if I forgot my calculator? Desmos is integrated into both tests. We do not loan calculators.
What if my device won’t work? We will provide you with a school Chromebook.
When will I receive my scores? Refer to the ACT or SAT guidelines for score reporting.
What if I become sick on test day? Do not report to the testing site. Contact ACT or SAT directly to reschedule your test.
